Here is my second draft of my contents page for my music magazine. I have added some polaroid pictures to fill the some of the black space and have gotten rid of the photo credit as it did not fit where it was but would not work anywhere else.

Second Draft of Front Cover

Here is my second draft of my Front Cover for my music magazine. I have changed the Dominant Image and have used the stroke tool to outline the text so that it is easily readable against the background. As well as this, I have changed some of the fonts and colours.

Draft of Double Page Spread

Here is my current draft of my Double Page Spread for my Magazine. From last time I have made the two sub images polaroids and have gotten rid of the image credit for both of them. As well as this I have changed the colour of the 'Get Katie's tips for the perfect selfie' from yellow to white as yellow was a bit too hard to read. Also, I have gotten ride of the logo from the top of the page and moved the 'Article' running head along slightly. I have written the masthead of the magazine next to the page number.

Here is my current draft of my Front Cover of my magazine. From last time, I have changed the images for the Snapchat filters to ones that work better. I have, also, gotten rid of the yellow heart and have made the band images bigger. As well as this, I have added an outline to the '3 Huge Stowaways Posters' so that it stands out more against the images.

Here is my most recent draft of my contents page. I have changed the contents of the yellow box slightly; I added the band name to the pictures, I added a picture of one of the pages from the magazine, I added another front cover and I have expanded on the social media links. I still think that I could change a few things about this page, for instance I could move the photo credit and change the dominant image.

First Draft of Double Page Spread

Here is my completed first draft of my double page spread. I have added a bottom banner with information in underneath the article with some vague information in - like one of the Top of the Pops double page spreads. For my next draft I will either change my dominant image or edit it better as I am aware that it looks a bit grainy/not as professional as the rest of the double page spread. I may, also, change the background so that there is not as much blank space behind my dominant image. Overall, I am quite pleased with my first draft of my double page spread.

From last time I have added two sub images to the front cover with captions and photo credits. I have, also, added an article credit and a dominant image credit. I, also, decided to add some yellow to the space behind the article title but I was not sure whether the yellow made the page look a bit garish or not. In the end I have decided that I do like the yellow and that I will keep it as I think that it looks bare without it.

Here is my current draft of my Double Page Spread. I need to change/edit the image as it is a bit grainy. I have finished the article and have added a pull quote as well as some coloured triangles to add colour to the page.

Here is my second draft of my Front Cover. I still need to change the pictures for the snapchat filters as they currently do not work with the rest of the magazine.

Here is my next attempt at a front cover. I have changed the barcode, font for the subhead and the posters. I am aware that it still needs quite a bit of editing as it is far from perfect. I need to adjust the layout a bit and change some of the fonts and the snapchat filters image (as it is currently just a filler). As well as this, I need to move the 'No.1 Teen Magazine' as it is a bit out of place. Also, I need to adjust the top banner and find something else to put there. I will try to make these changes next time.

First Draft of Contents Page

Here is my first draft of my contents page. From my last draft I have rearranged the layout slightly - adding a yellow box that have sub images, social media links, page number, web address and subscription information in. I have moved the dominant image further up and made it smaller. As well as this, I have added the date and heading to the top op the page, giving a slightly more professional look to the page. Also, I have added a think line between the lists of features to give a more structures look to the page. To improve, I think that I should add more sub images and make the social media links smaller.

Here is my most recent draft of my Contents Page. It includes: the masthead, a heading, an editors note, a dominant image, sub images, social media links, web address, photo credit, list of features, page numbers and subheads. The colour scheme of my contents page is very similar to that of my Front Cover; pinks, blues and purples. I have used a variety of fonts that tie in well with the theme of pop music. Most of these fonts have, also, been used on my Front Cover, however, one of them has not. I chose to use American Typewriter to write the editors note and the feature names and subheads. I did this so that it would be easy to read and wouldn't be so distracting like the other fonts. I will more than likely change my dominant image as it doesn't quite tie in with the rest of the contents page and I will, also, add more sub images to the page. I may, also, make the social media links smaller as the logos are rather distracting to the audience. However, they will still be visible so that the audience can choose to follow the magazine on different social media platforms. I may, also, try to fill some of the white space on the contents page like the top right hand corner. I know what to add and what to change for the next time.

Final First Draft

Here is the final first draft of my magazine cover. From the feedback that I have been given on from members of the class and my interview, I know what I need to change and add to my front cover so that I can improve it and make it the best it can be.

Here is my most recent draft of my Front Cover. I have changes some of the fonts and colours of the typography so that it ties in with the theme of my magazine better. I gave adjusted the layout framing the dominant image so that it looks more chaotic yet still structured. As well as this, I have edited the dominant image so that it looks better and has a more professional look to it. I have changed the size of the original price and website address so that it is smaller. I have added the price again in the top right hand corner so that it can be easily viewed by the audience so they know how much the magazine is. However, I still need to adjust some of the sub images and sell lines on the right hand side so that it looks better and fits in with the rest of the front cover better. I will, also, try to fill some of the blank space towards the top of the front cover. I still need to change the picture of the snapchat filters so that it is an original image and not Kylie Jenner.

I have added more sell lines to my Front Cover to give a busier and more chaotic layout. I have, also, added more images of the posters that are available. I still need to replace the pictures of Kylie Jenner's Snapchat so that they are original images instead. I feel like I need to rearrange some of the sell lines and change some of the fonts to make them bolder and more attractive.
