Source inspiration for double page spread from Hannah Ould

Here are the magazines that I have chosen to be the inspiration for my double page spread. I have chosen: 'Top of the Pops', 'Teen Vogue' and 'We Love Pop'. I have chosen 'Top of the Pops' because I like the layout and the different fonts. I have chosen 'Teen Vogue' because I like the layout. I have chosen 'We Love Pop' because I like the layout and the framing of the double page spread. I hope to incorporate elements from all three of these magazines in my own double page spread.

Here are the magazine contents pages that I have chosen to be my inspirations for my contents page. I have picked three different magazines: Top of the Pops, We Love Pop and Shout. I picked Top of the Pops as I like the way the they have a smaller version of the magazine front cover on the contents page so that you can clearly see what features are where. I have chosen We Love Pop as I like the way that they have an editors note. Finally, I have chosen Shout because I like the overall layout and structure of it. I will try to coordinate all three of these contents pages into my own contents page.

Here are the magazine covers that I have chosen to be the inspiration for my own front cover. I have chosen 'Seventeen', 'Top of the Pops' and 'Cosmopolitan' to be the inspiration for the front cover of my magazine. The reason I have chosen 'Seventeen' and 'Cosmopolitan' is because I really like the busy yet structured layout of the front cover. I, also, like the way that the models each have a different pose in these magazines - as if they are showing their personality through the pictures. I would like my magazine to have a similar look to it. The reason that I have chosen 'Top of the Pops' is because I like the use of sub images. I will try and cooperate each of these layouts into my own layout for my magazine. 

Competition

Institution Research

The institution that I think should own my magazine is Bauer Media Group as they do not currently own a pop music magazine or a magazine for teenage girls and so there is room for a magazine like this in their market. This would bring in more money for Bauer and would have a different target audience than any of the magazine's that they currently own.
