Front Cover

Reflection

The front cover of the magazine ended up being slightly different from the flat plan that I created. For example, I added a bottom banner to the magazine and put the essential information in there and moved the barcode to under the masthead on the right hand side. The price stayed in the same place on the left hand side under the masthead. I, also, put the masthead in a banner underneath the top banner, this is so that it is easily readible. Each of the sub images is on a white square along with the sell line that goes with it so that it is easy readable. The puff/plug is on a white cirlce in blue writing to attract people to it. The sub images and sell lines frame the dominant image with the main sell line in blue writing on the bottom of the dominant image. The main sell line in the only writing other than the price that is not in a box or shape - this makes it stand out the most. The camera angle of the dominant image is the same as what I said in the ratioanle for the flat plan. I believe that our front cover looks very proffessional but it is clear that I do need some more practice.
